 SSA Press Conference November 2023:

Why is the girl (Top center) so sad?

     "Ethan Shay, you announced that this school runs on a dating-based economy what do you mean by that?”

“SSA is tracking the events in this school very closely. Major wars and splits have come because of dating. Our research indicates that 12% of the school is in confirmed relationships while more people are clamoring to get into one. As such dating has a huge impact on the foreign policy of the school, alliances, and defense. The WWV, for example, where Hazel got nuked, and now we have Dash and Camilla. While people like Denver, potentially Maverick are still attempting to make a play into the game. However, due to the numbers, 9^th grade has to unilaterally look upwards, making 10^th grade a battleground state. In contrast, the 11^th grade is insulated from these ‘attacks’, and for some reason, 7^th grade is attempting to meddle in HS geopolitics.  That’s why 9^th and 10^th grades are so key towards defense. GCAM is primarily in 11^th grade the 10^th graders in it are insulated from 9^th grade but let's look at the JNC property. This could turn into a war or an alliance. We don’t want 3-way proxy wars over dating. Thus it’s a vital part of the Glory High policy and it's very very volatile.”

“You referenced WWV in your statement and fears that a Valerie allied candidate could ascend to the throne should President Allison abdicate. Could SSA have done more to prevent WWV and Hazel from getting nuked? Is this SSA’s 1^st military loss?”

WWV was a win for SSA and stabilized Hazel. SSA maintains a frival relationship with Valerie. Her intelligence is high and she can stop threats. For instance, she stalled math class for 25 minutes by asking ridiculously simple Bible questions and pretending not to know who John was. However, when that power is misguided it turns into the Molly/Valerie alliance. Which is dangerous and SSA has taken a position to stop it. The truth of the matter is Hazel lost WWV, not because of the lack of SSA assistance, but because she was not at school and her ranking was neutral/negative in the eyes of the student body, potentially before SSA even had boots on the ground before Ethan Shay 4 GCA was even a campaign. Her planning was bad, her defense was bad, and her offense was anemic. SSA notwithstanding she would have lost. 

The truth of the matter is that Hazel got nuked to the 3^rd world. Her position as a leader in the school was untenable and in a precarious position. She will not clamber back into her position. Glory High has passed her by. She declined the SSA long-term plans and thus was not granted the defense agents' provision. However, SSA is committed to defending the school which is why we won The Battle of The Goldfish and the Denver protection plan is in full swing. As of November SSA is more powerful than the Molly and Valerie alliance and we stand with GCAM, and anti-Hazel violence and rhetoric is down.  

“Speaking of GACM, we have noticed slight frustration with them as of late, we also noticed that several members of GCAM were not in the storied student council meeting, why is that?"

GCAM, by definition, is the most powerful non-SSA entity on the face of the school. A month after WWV the ‘Great Split’ occurred which has changed school politics. With SSA backing they should be able to control and rule the school, due to their numbers, their political influence, and their access to GNN. While SSA remains neutral on the ‘Split’ GCAM does give us a proxy to counter Molly, who has now slipped to 2^nd ½ place between GCAM and jVn. With focus and SSA help, GCAM can beat jVn and rule the school.

"Do you believe that Denver is under threat?"

SSA made it very clear that threats against Denver’s person are not to be tolerated. They will be met with force in terms of bodyguards and soft power.  

You claim to be allied with Jayla yet support GCAM is this a conflict of interest?

Jayla and Nadelie are ascendant forces in the school. They are involved with many things such as the JNC property, teen dating politics, Ethan Shay 4 GCA, intel intel-gathering operations, but SSA seems neutral on the GCAM jVn front. Though on the neutral/pro-Allison scale, they are not on the neutral/pro-Molly team and are neutral on Hazel. This will cause Jayla and Nadelie to grow in the coming weeks and months as forces in the school.

"Today’s student council meeting was very chaotic. It covered threats on Denver’s person, weird songs, and off-topic events. The administration was not able to secure a deal to get a dance planned. Do you agree with the plan How can this be remedied?"

What needed to be accomplished was accomplished. Unfortunately, some of the events happened but it brought a great moment for SSA to stare down Molly and prove our worth and communication abilities in the geopolitical realm. As for the dance, StuGov is regrouping and is in the planning stages for special events. 

"President Allison floated a plan to secure money for a spring dance, do you think it’s a good plan and will remedy the situation?"

President Allison's plan is good in theory. However, it needs to be fleshed out more. The truth of the matter is that after two or three weeks of fundraisers, the student body will not contribute any more money. Secondly, we have to have clear confirmation from the administrators that it is going towards a set event. We cannot fund imaginary events. This will bring up morale. Thirdly, my plan to have FUNraisers would be a great implementation of this plan as the body benefits in the short term and the long term. Vice President Geneva had a great idea for this. This goes to show how having a competition between Allison-backed and SSA-backed alliances will benefit the student body in the long run because innovation and ideas will flourish.
