Crushed

The SSA was in control. We had cracked the GCAM case and were just a few days away from the "National Unofficial Write an Eight Day." Our proxy war with GCAM was progressing well, especially after turning over the tapes to our allies in jVn. With an anti-spy contract in place, SSA-GCAM relations were warming once again. Meanwhile, the SSA was tabling jVn for a potential Babbling Brook Mall summit, buoyed by our renewed goodwill and the spy contract. The entire situation was going as well as could be expected, and I was set to return to Energizer High’s students on Saturday for a robotics competition.      I posted documents about my situation on CSM and Reddit, and responses came flooding in. Reddit was unhelpful, but CSM proved more sympathetic to my cause. CSM truly was the best social site—it allowed me to connect with others on a deeply personal level. It even enabled me to recruit teen agents to work with me and spun off a new SSA group, where GCA...

WATERGATE

Designed by Freepik  As tensions flared between the prom-positive GCAM and the evangelical-rightish SSA, allies, disagreements, and debates swirled across CSM, with people offering all sorts of conflicting advice. GCAM announced bold plans to hack into a secure SSA computer and launch a line of spy toys to monitor SSA and topple their backed government. SSA intel doubted these claims, but it gave us the leverage we needed.       Back at headquarters, I prepped an old phone with espionage tools and dusted off my headset. Weeks earlier, I’d let people talk into the phone and could hear their voices through the headset—though it didn’t work in reverse. So, I rigged my computer with software to bridge the gap. I also convinced my parents to let me buy a "voice-activated recorder" under the guise of needing it for "student council." Over the next few days, I fine-tuned my outing plan and scanned my backpack for bugs.      The recorder a...

Report On The Effectiveness and Ease Of An External Ally Meetup March 2024

As I returned to base to finish up the GCAM investigation, I started planning for the week ahead. In order to fully explain to my friend at CSM and people on Reddit the predicament I was in with getting a friendship outing. Lastly, a report could help SSA Intelligence figure out how to effectively plan.  Report On The Effectiveness and Ease Of An External Ally Meetup March 2024 (internal document) This report seeks to figure out the probability score of key allies meeting up in an external place outside of school and to analyze what happens outside of school in varying situations.  According to internal research, the legal system at the house is geared towards 9-year-olds operating under a ‘trickle-down’ system. Thus, laws that pass benefit the youngest the most as they get to experience more levels of freedom at a younger age, thus testing the limit. This happens for three reasons.  Rules are rarely challenged, thus the non-existence of certain teen-centric rules...

Operation INfiltrate!!

As spring break unfolded, I reviewed my plan, written on March 10th, to infiltrate GCAM and secure approval—both "client and server side," as I had mentioned on CSM—for a friendship outing at Babbling Brook Mall. This was entirely unprecedented, something that had never happened before. Even if I could act normal and convince GCAM-S or someone else to agree to the plan, I’d still need parental approval. Recent tapes, however, showed that GCAM-S was growing cold toward me. They told me to "go get someone else" in a pseudo-kind way, blaming me for being present during potentially inappropriate jokes. Meanwhile, the jVn sanctions seemed to be working—we collaborated well together, and they were back on the air—but Denver’s leaks and people’s failure to understand the seriousness of the situation were muddying the details. Thankfully, Summer had been cleared by investigative services. She wasn’t an agent of Liberty or Energizer High, nor was she a Damien plant sent...

The Summer Files

Something seemed weird, something seemed off about GCAM-S. That is why SSA decided to spend the last month investigating her. Shortly before I started instigating the engravings on the table, I interviewed Summer. Summer’s entrance into the school was shrouded in secrecy. She left her school in the middle of the year without any indication as to why. As SSA did some digging into her past, we uncovered that she was doing athletics at her old school. So why come here? As GCAM-S unveiled her backstory, it got weirder and weirder. She had to be an agent of the opposition. March 2020 Liberty Prep “Bye David!!” I wave from the steps of Liberty Prep as David is driven away. He was my closest friend at Liberty Prep and I am about to leave the school to go on an early Spring Break. We did everything at school together, his rocket went about 130 feet in the air and was very smart. SSA pegged him as one of the smartest kids who were leaders in the school, a legacy student. But Nikka a...

The Geronimo Files

As I ponder the Hazel case, I wonder if GCAM is finally starting to use its influence over its rivals—especially after I told them I felt left out. But then I think again. Why would anyone target Hazel? And more specifically, why would GCAM? The crush theory is eliminated since GCAM members are also girls. Secondly, while Hazel may have expressed mild dislike toward them, SSA never shared that intelligence with GCAM. GCAM was coded for social development, while SSA was coded for espionage. However, SSA’s project to integrate both functions was proving far more effective than our failed attempts to repurpose GCAM’s existing infrastructure into a key intel partnership. GCAM had invaluable relationships, a critical group chat holding important information, accessible home bases, thousands of social followers (thanks to Summer), and strong internal cohesion due to their reliance on mutually assured destruction. And yet, with all these perceived advantages, they still hadn’t conver...

For Hazel!! (2.0)

A change had come over the school. A few days earlier, SSA intel agent Maverick released a picture of Denver with the name "Nadelie" scribbled over it to Jayla. Jayla, the rising power, posted this to Instagram, causing days-long outrage as SSA attempted to stymie the damage. I returned to base on a mission to monitor each and every Instagram account in the school. Taking note of my newly secured access to Jayla’s Instagram, I used it to trace back into the history of GCAM-S and noticed something weird: the outrage behind the outrage. Shortly before my pivotal election, which intelligence believed helped spark the formation of GCAM-S (the GAM plan where Genava and Ava backed me), pictures surfaced on my screen—pictures that showed GCAM and jVn… together, at Bablling Brook Mall, at birthday parties, pre volleyball games.       Lastly, key information information surfaced on my screen, confirming the rumors: Was Summer a foreign agent? She arrived t...

V-Day Sanctions

"In a stunning operation, SSA prevented Summer’s number from falling into the wrong hands while keeping popularity levels at a pre-intervention high. “Yes, miraculously, Operation Last Chance 2.0 did not cause Secretary Shay’s popularity to fall. In fact, it even smoothed over diplomatic relations with Damien—on a road trip, no less.” “In other news, President Allison has announced a Valentine’s Day fundraising plan set to take effect next week. This plan will…” “Sorry to cut to you, but SSA President Shay is about to speak.” Good afternoon, everyone.       SSA has led the way, and at great cost to ourselves and the Agency, we have successfully prevented Summer’s number from being transferred. We stood up to Damien—not once, but twice—and even though the plan leaked, SSA still overcame this challenge.       However, even as we secure this victory, we must turn our attention to an unsettling concern. The Agency has always operated with precision and strategy...

Evil Shall Not Prevail!!!

As I approach the Vice President and our GCAM-S—the student who texted me last night—Donovan calls me over, his phone in hand. As a precaution, I brought two phones today, just in case they ask to scan my texts. "Ethan, do you know what number this is?" "No. Who is it?" "This wasn’t you?" "No."       My heart is thumping. If the 10th grade doesn’t know yet, our plan can still be pulled off. If this doesn’t reach President Allison and jVn, we should be good. Only a few people know about the plan, so if worst comes to worst, SSA can scrap it, shred the files, and not get caught.     I walk toward the GCAM-S area and ask them a simple question. "Okay, remember to keep this down. Oh, and where were y’all last night?" Summer looks confused. I try to keep my voice to a whisper while I lay out the new plan. "Summer, I need a picture of you." I take out my phone and snap a blurry shot with Summer partially obscuring her face. ...

The Demlin

18:00 CST – ROOM 16B Deep in the bowels of SSAHQ, I monitored my phone. No response from Damien yet. “Maverick, do you think we should send the text?” “Yes.” I quickly opened the application and my regular phone app to copy Damien’s number. I crafted my message carefully. "Hi, Damien. This is Summer. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you my number at school—you know how weird Ethan is." Then, I ran it through AI to make it sound more like a teen girl: ❤️Hiii Damien!! This is Summer, im sorry I couldnt give you my number in the school, you know how weird Ethan is, LOL Taking a deep breath, I tapped send... and waited. And waited. Finally, a notification. Room 16B had connected to the Demlin. @Damien: "I know this isn’t Summer." I was wary of this. @SSA: "Yes, it is." @Damien: "Stop playing around." @SSA: "What?" @Damien: "What was the Snap you told me?" Panic. I frantically searched the internet for Summer’s Snapchat—nothing. I connect...

Operation Rollerblade Pt 1

I arrived at school on a mission. SSA Intel Reports indicated that tensions between GCAM and jVn were rising. Hopefully, the SSA would resolve this soon so that we could focus on making money, solving real cases, and going for the holy grail, Project 2024’s Operation Friendship . And maybe, just maybe, I could become a spy like Buck.                After hearing Buck get to become a spy for the NSA and go over to someone’s house, I was desperate in the same episode. This was my lifelong dream it was being dangled in front of me by Focus on the Family in the imaginary world, the SSA ‘hypertherortical’, and by Jayla and Nadelie in the real world. After launching an investigation to see if the AIO sleepover episode was legitimate, which a SSA Decision Desk poll has called with 75% accuracy rating against the real world.  Buck was able to speed run my dream in a 2 part 50 minute audio drama….if only SSA coul...

GCAM's Gambit

I arrived at school on a mission today. Firstly, to protect Sieanna from Val and Molly, and secondly to promote GCAM as the alternative to the Molly/Val alliance, and even over jVn. This would help the agency get an information deal from GCAM so our intelligence would be even better in the coming months, plus with Allison's departure the agency needed a hedge against Senator Vera and VP-hopeful Molly.  Our agents in jVn, Jayla and Nadelie haven’t provided any key intel as of late, and the agency hasn’t made any money yet. While we solved a few cases and enacted protection, the agency would have to diversify to become profitable. I decided, that over the Christmas break, that we would plan new strategies to make money, ones that were not solely dedicated to intelligence gathering. The gas station near the school was a popular place to buy food, maybe Kaia and I could have a delivery business….  Perhaps, I could become a student council consultant….maybe @clara, a fellow te...
