The Fall Of GCAM: Our Greatest Ally

The fallout was clear from the start, Allison was now the clear leader. Sure in the StuGov meeting, I was the secretary and, though this was not a parliamentary system, my side had the majority, GCAM did not want to lead. Instead of putting together a fiscally responsible plan they caved to a 6.5k prom funding plan facilitated by fundraisers every week and our agreement to have unity and to work together for a better school, that GCAM wanted me to say was lost in the noise…the allyship and fight I had seen in GCAM just a few weeks ago was gone.

I arrived at the school on a mission. To make the school a better place. Since the loss of Ava and my appointment as secretary of state things were running smoothly. However, the looming tensions still flared. I head up to assembly to run the screens. After pledging to the US, Texas, and Christian flags announcements are made.

               “I want all 11^th grade girls to stay here. The rest of you all can leave.” This announcement sends shockwaves through the school. The week before, the school had been made for all girls, 6^th-12^th grade. “Denver what do you think this is about?” “I’m not sure.” “I guess this technically makes me President as the President and VP are all in a meeting….what if they are attacked? We have all the heads of state in the same room. Former Presidential and VP candidates Vera and Molly, VP Geneva, and of course POGUS Allison.” “Nobody is going to attack the school. Hey Maverick!! Did you see this new move in Madden 24?”

               Despite, Denver’s lack of care for potential attacks like the one I had a few months ago with the perfume…he was probably right. Though Molly was a threat, SSA had kept her contained. And while GCAM had lost Ava, Molly’s wing was also weakened by the loss of Valerie. SSA could now easily keep up with Molly, jVn, and GCAM with the technological and intelligence-gathering superiority, though an Iron Curtain had descended around GCAM, which was falling deeper and deeper into irrelevance.  

               I worked through this in my 1st-period free class. Though, SSA projections showed GCAM being the most powerful and prosperous alliance in the school, we still had a tinge of doubt. ETHAN SHAY 4 GCA data showed that Geneva could lose to Molly in a head to head race, Vera could still be angling for a 24/25 campaign, and poling done by Nathanael showed that jVN, specifically Jayla and Nadelie were more popular that GCAM’s power due Geneva and Clarissa. This makes sense as the jNc principle prevailed and from a geopolitical theory, it made sense as well.

               Essentially, 9^th grade, with limited exceptions, would have to date upwards. Due to how things shook out this made them have to go towards 10^th grade, while 11^th grade was disengaged. 12^th grade, except for SSA, was politically and militarily neutral and adhered to ‘clash of clans’ foreign policy, and literally anyone could invade them.

               Of course, SSA would work with Jalya and Nadelie for our special profitability project but we needed more agents in the 10^th grade who were liked by both sides, people who could serve as liaison between SSA and its wanted militarization of GCAM, the reality of GCAM (IG reels), and jVn. GCAM had made no moves recently, and according to public Instagram data, a pre war, joint GCAM/jVn summit had been made to a Kendra Scott location at the mall. This meant that the war started quickly….but why?

               Both teams got what they wanted, Vera in Congress and Allison as President with GCAM taking the remaining seats and an ally in 12^th grade. I wish they would do more with their advantage…if they won’t invade maybe we should. This also doesn't deal with the problem of star basketball player, and now SSA’s number 1 villain, Devon. Though, having control ofer GCAM before it devolves could help us not have to engage in operation Last Chance…for the sake of Denver and GCA.

I emerge from the class and look around. I do not see any of the 11^th graders and the next class goes by with the missing attendance. After Bible, I go to lunch. GCAM is back at the table talking and Jayla and Nadelie are also sitting at their table talking. Everything looks…normal. I decided to figure out what was going on later and focus on my project to make SSA profitable, ally with 10^th grade and help spread democracy and SSA-allied governments far and wide.

               Finally, the gym class/ free period arrives and I find the table the GCAM retreats to more and more. Geneva apparently left, but Clarissa and 12^th grade rep, Cody were talking. Maria was also looking at Instagram Reels on an iPad and iMessaging. I just sat at the table behind them inconspicuously.

Then, Molly walked by, and the most shocking thing happened. They talked to each other!!! The leader of the opposition said hello to Clarissa and she responded. This prompts Cody to ask, “What happened in the meeting downstairs?” “Well, they asked us to stay behind and work out our problems, to ease the tension between us. So we talked to each other for an hour. One of the more interesting things that happened in group chats got mentioned as talking points and….”

               Clarissa goes on but my mind is swimming. The collapse of GCAM is imminent and High school geopolitics is about to be shaken to its core. Yes, as a Christian, this is a good thing, but from a geopolitical perspective, this is terrible. With no drive or determination, GCAM may slide and give rise to jVn who may have other StuGov agendas, the security state provided by the tension may snap, and worst of all SSA did not broker the peace deal….who did? Potentially my frival…President Allison? The 'Berlin Wall' has fallen down....and our secrets with it.

               The era of the competing agencies may be coming to a close….the reconciliation event that forced the 11th-grade girls to talk about their problems. 

     While SSA condones the new bridges that have been formed from a security perspective this is a disaster as all previous intel could be useless…we shall see if the alliances still form

Politically, due to these events, and the dangling carrot and Allison’s Hail Mary attempt of prom GCAM completely caved to the 6500 dollar!!! Plan to have a prom!!! They also failed to bring up the scavenger hunt or to have me give my ultimatum to the POGCUS.

This means that all secrets told to GCAM, all plans, could be off for now. Pre-reconciliation SSA was assured that our info would not fall into the hands of the rival powers due to geopolitical tensions….however now that the barriers have come down this info is in grave danger.
